Planets:

There are alot of planets, but we can focus for the ones in the milky way.

in our galaxy we have eight planets

they orbit around the sun in a weird way

it would be easier to show you with a picture:

whats happening is they are moving down while orbiting in different speeds, they are all being pulled towards "An unknown force"

Stuff We learned

Shadows

As you know, your shadow is casted from the sun, but did you know your shadow grows and shrinks?

At 6:AM or so, the sun is east, but VERY east, this causes a long shadow to be casted on you when you are outside

As it gets closer to a solar noon your shadow and other objects shadow's get smaller until you look mini!

After the solar noon as the sun goes to the west, your shadow gets bigger again! This is a cycle, until the sun explodes!

The rotating Shadows

the earth is rotating at an axis, and when the sun rays hit earth at that axis, it makes your shadow rotate instead of just growing!

also, the sun never moves around us, we actually rotate around and it makes the illusion that the sun orbits us when it dosent!

Fun Science games!

Measuring mini shadows!

You are going to want chalk, a big ruler, and a driveway for this!

At 6:am go outside and use chalk to mark the bottom of your shadow and the top, then measure it

Once you finish that, document it on a sheet of paper

After that, you are going to want to do it again at 12 pm, and 6 pm. Document all of them.

you will see how mini you are at 12pm and at 6am how big you are!

shadow puppets

if the power is ever out, then get a flashlight and point it at your hand, then, make your hand into any shape! it will be projected at the wall as a puppet!

whats cool is if you angle the flashlight you can make the puppet long just like the sun does to your shadow!

The Starship

the Starship had its 11th launch on 10/13/2025 which was only yesterday print time!

it went a fasinating 10000+ kmh! ( also about 621 mph)

it might soon go to mars! it had been trying for a good bit.

it exploded but landed softly, perfect!
