The Lone Star Colossus: Football Stadium Math & GPS Coordinate Quest
Turn math practice into a high-stakes stadium hunt!
In this engaging cross-curricular challenge, students complete six football-themed “downs” to uncover the hidden GPS coordinates of a legendary Texas football stadium. Each down combines real-world sports facts with math, place value, and problem-solving. After solving all six challenges, students assemble the coordinates, drop the pin on a satellite map, and identify the mystery stadium, team, city, and state.
Students are not simply given the destination—they have to earn every digit!
